So, thanks all for the help deciding on and getting the Panasonic HVX.
My current question (as I delve into the world of HD for the first time) is about avoiding settings or frame rate issues down the line. I am using the HVX200 for interviews, a bunch of stills, some PD150 and 170 b-roll and my I am trying to "keep it all happy" for final output (on which format I am not sure of as of yet).
I do know that my client wants to shoot in 720p 30fps non-drop on the HVX. I suppose this will avoid issues when combining the PD150 / 170 footage. Is there a tutorial avail with regard to setting up a project using these or similar different sources?
I would appreciate any info.
I guess my other question would be is there a way to shoot in 24p and still combine the sources without issue? I prefer the look of 24p.
Thanks,
