I posted this question this morning, but after poking around some more, the title wasn't accurate.
I'm now wondering if my problem could be a levels issue or a size/pixel issue - the problem only occurs when viewing on TV monitors and is find on computer screens. I have some things I can try, but if anyone has any further ideas, I'd love to hear them. I'm not sure I'm totally clear about it.
Here's the situation:
I have a Photoshop graphic with an alpha - it's a white background with a square cutout for video; on one edge is a thick black bar and thinner purple stripe (both vertical).
In FCP and when I play the DVD on any computer, it's just fine, but on TV monitors the straight lines appear warped - there's a little hitch near the top and one near the bottom. It almost looks like a tape wrinkle, where things are slightly off-kilter.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!!!
