Exporting Motion to Quicktime movie

Hello All,
I made a creation on just on Motion. When I tried to export it to a QuickTime movie it wouldn't let me. To solve this problem I just copied my timeline and paste in a new motion and had no problems. What went wrong with the orginal copy?
I use a Mac OS X, Motion is from FCP HD. Exported in Best Quality, H.264

Not sure but H.2.64 probably isn't the best codec to export. You want to export as the same settings as your timelines in FCP. OR:

This is even better. Just import your motion file into FCP and drop it on your timeline. You'll have to render, but the advantage is if you control click it on your timeline and choose "Open in Editor" you can make adjustments to your motion project, save it, and rerender and it will automatically update in your FCP timeline. Hope this helps./
