In marker out marker shift zoom

I can't find the FAQ or the list of suggestions for the next version of FCP so here goes.

shift z brings the whole timeline into view and in the canvas' fits the vid to screen size. How about in the timeline at least, when you mark an in and an out, then shift z to zoom to that marked off moment in the timeline?

You can do it right now:

- Mark in/out points
- Press Option-A (selects clips between mark in/out on autoselected tracks)
- Press Shift-Option-Z (fits selection to timeline window)

or this is easier:
- Select clip(s)
- Press Shift-Option-Z

Nope that's not true but certain areas of the BBC are going for FCP in a big way. Not just the BBC - there's encouraging moves to FCP from other major broadcasters and production companies.
