its not known as an "editing drive". it may indeed have the right specs, but i cant seem to find them anywhere... i dont know why many budget drive manufacturers dont display ALL the specs - i guess they figure their "budget conscious" demographic wouldnt care...

i say if youre buying an off the shelf drive and dont want to gamble - spend the extra $100 or so and get one that been suggested here on the forum.

i generally find that any drive that they sell at an office supply store is NOT a good choice...

not a RULE just a general guideline

ok well a bnch of kids have this that come into the lab i work in, and to be honest i havent heard of amny problems with them, thats not to say tehre bad, but they certainly dont seem to be very troubled so far, but since they are a new drive, i dont hae any long term data older then say 6 months, maybe less

they seem to work ok though, but i dont find them attractive
