Yeah I know I should know this..and I should consult the manual..I need to stp using my mouse so does anybody know the keyboard shortcut for placing clips in the timelime. Cheers.

F9 CUTS in into the timeline and F10 is OVERWRITE.

Be sure to turn off EXPOSÉ in your system preferences.

No offense, Phil, but did you even bother to look? Exposé is right there in OS System Preferences, on the first level.

yes Derek I did bother to look..I have no idea what Expose is...so when I read dashboard and expose my brain zipped right on by..so there.
