pixel mutations

<HTML>I recently started having problems with my FCP 1.2.5., which I never did before.
After compositing my movie and run it in the timeline, and I started to see a few weird pixels popping up in the movie (like a bad reception on TV, but not that severe). When I put in back on DV tape via firewire, they get on the tape as well.
Is this a software glitch? Should I reintall the software?

Thanx for the help in advance.

<HTML>Sounds more like a settings problem or a QT problem. Make sure your sequence pre sets match(ed) your Capture settings. You will often get this symptom if they do not. If this is not the case then trash FCP prefs and re set your settings and see if that does anything.

Last resort is trash QT including QT prefs and Sound Manager and re install QT Pro.

<HTML>It's too early to tell. But getting rid of FCP pref. might have fixed the problem. I'll see if the problem comes back.

Thanks very much for your suggestion, Michael.
