Compressor settings for DVCPRO HD 720p60 ?Posted by johnd24
You don't necessarily need to use Compressor. Use Export - Using QuickTime Conversion from Final Cut Pro. The codec recommended in here right now for a good quality-size ratio is H.264. You should probably consider reducing the frame size as well as compressing the audio.

I use the Quicktime 7 Streaming 16:9 options in Compressor. It does a fine job.

Hi all -
Timing is everything... just trying to export the same format for the web. Shane, would you mind sharing your comressor droplet in my direction? I'd love to compare it to what I have been trying. Thanks, Troy Troy Christian G5 Quad, 8GB RAM, FCP HD Suite 2 6.0.5, OSX 10.5.6 AJA LHe card
