Audio Sync issues in an HDV project

on one G5 with dual processors, we can play clips without any error or problems.
when i bring clips over to the machine i'm on, which has considerable less RAM, less than a gig, the audio is slow by about 5 frames.
i'm guessing this is an issue or not enough RAM.
I've checked the box in Playback Options and I put the offset to 0 and it doesn't help any.

You can also mess that up by having View, External Video, All Frames selected. That can throw the timeline way off.

But, yes, you're trying to edit a HiDef show on half the memory we consider useful for a DV Quality show. I can't tell you that's what's wrong, but it's a darn good bet.
