FCP (& studio apps) lost license / won't take my serial # / won't reinstall

I am mid-project on a couple of shows and this morning when i tried to continue my work on either of them... when I went to open FCP, I got a small window titled "licensing" asking for user information: my name, organization and serial# info but it will not accept my numbers.

I tried to reinstall but after verifying my system ... Final Cut Pro is grayed out .. I tried verifying and repairing my drives / verifying and repairing my disk permissions and then reinstalling Tiger.

One thing to note...
FCP is installed on a 200GB SATA drive I was using on my G4 QuickSilver with a PCI card .. I need more speed and RAM so I just purchased a G5 and moved the drive from the G4 to the G5 .. it mounts and runs fine... and FCP opened last night ... not this morning.

Any ideas?
