Reasons you cant edit marker in TL

i am adding compression markers to a seq. and its not allowing marker edit.
is there some rule about adding compression markers to a seq?
is it that nest do not count as a seq?

Are you adding a sequence marker (on the timeline ruler) or a marker on a clip? If it's the latter, then you have to select the clip first before FCP will allow you to edit the marker.
