Is Bruce a good thing or bad? Am I not pounding the system hard enough for him to appear? Anyone have a screenshot?

I can't get him to appear in FCP 6.
I tried opening the video scopes and CTRL+ double or multiple clicks and nothing happens.
The method for 4.5 HD didn't work either.

The method for making Bruce appear is different in every version, and it's really considered a bit of an editor's secret. Not something you post on the Internerd.

You know...the attitude of the "helpers" on the Apple forum makes me want to find out even more how to evoke Bruce. Someone saw him and then mentioned that he tried the old methods to evoke him and it did not work. The "helpers" attacked the poor guy & locked the thread.

...this is getting interesting. I will post what I find. To be continued...

Geez, the yak is supposed to be fun. What the hell is wrong with them?

Usually Googling Bruce would yield numerous sites that give you the method for calling him. There's no such site for FCP6 yet, which leads me to suspect nobody's figured it out yet.

I guess it's because lots of people see it as a puzzle and a challenge. Coming across how to do it accidentally on a forum would be like getting a crossword puzzle and having the guy next to you on the bus fill it all in to show you how clever he is.

Mind you, I freely admit that I have asked (in private) for the method of finding Bruce before. But I did find him myself twice, and those finds were a lot more fun. I got to be excited that I had figured it out. When I asked someone (V5) I couldn't get it to work anyway, and I just lost interest.

Geeky? Hell yeah. But please don't post spoilers. Maybe offer to tell people in private if they want to know. I haven't found him in 6 yet.
