FCP 6 Studio Pro 2 on a PowerBook 1GHz 1Gb

FCP Studio 2 requires 1.25 ghz processor speed as told in the install info.
My TiBook is a 1 ghz with 1gb ram. Is it possible to install just the FCP 6 program and and exclude all the other newer versions of SoundTrack Pro, DVD St Pro and of course Motion, Color etc, when just editing in simple DV format? (no HD or SD etc)

My current FCP version on the TiBook is 5.12 and I want/need the same version as on my G5 2x2 with the new FCP Studio Pro 2, as you can not jump between the new version to the old.

So, as said, if am for the time being is just editing DV (no HD or SD etc) will it work?
(The FCP 5.12 works fine on my TiBook)

I believe it's the current wisdom that Apple will abort an install if the hardware isn't up to it. In critical applications--like video--it goes out and looks.

Apple doesn't want the headaches of someone installing complicated applications on an underpowered machine. Nobody wins except possibly us. The forum gets a lot of exercise when someone tries that.
