Hey guys,

A few months ago I saw a plug-in for FCP, where it will put a lower third display of the scene, shot and take...etc for daily and rough assembly screenings.

Has anyone else seen this or know where to find this plug-in?

I thought it was made the guys a digital heaven but i cant seem to find it anywhere.

thanks again

You do know that there is a Timecode burn effect in FCP?

Not us but you might be meaning this one:

Unfortunately data like clip name, shot, take etc is not made available to plug-ins.

Not Generator. Timecode Reader. Major rendering time, though, and a bitch to remove if you have other filters on your clips. If you need sporadic outputs with clip timecode (instead of timeline timecode), you might want to make a dupe of your Sequence(s) just for the Timecode Reader, then dump the dupe when you're done so you won't have to deal with removing the single filter from all your clips.

Maybe it's not a plugin but my software XML4Dailies which includes a special lower 3rd generator I did.
Maybe I'm wrong.

thanks guys for all the suggestions.

Here is a really bad example, but close enough to, of what the result of the effect of the "plug-in" i am referring to?

As said - there is no plugin which could do that job. Plugins can't read stuff like scene take note.
You can still use any text generator or motion and type in by hand, but I think that's not what you're asking for.
Again have a look at my xml4dailies

Andrew your xml4dailies was exactly what I saw last year. I knew your link earlier looked familiar, but it was the shot of the guy in the car i was looking for.

Thanks again for the heads up.
