Adding a Dissovle to Multiple clips

Is there a short cut for adding a dissolve to multiple clips in a track. I know I used to do this but it has slipped my mind today. Any suggestions.

Drag them back up into the Canvas and drop into Overwrite with Transition.

Pretty limited option, though; it can jumble your timeline. Final Cut Pro is still iffy about allowing you to do multiple transitions at once.

BE SURE your playhead is parked at the beginning of the set of clips you want to apply this to, so that it puts them back in the same place they came from. Big mess otherwise.
