FPC clips in Compressor

If someone could set me straight here ... Using Compressor to convert some clips that are in FPC bins, can I dump those clips into a Compressor batch from the FPC bin, or will compressor only accept the actual media files from my hard drive scratch disc?

I have the clips organized in my bins, but the hard drive just has one big Capture folder and I don't want to convert all those clips. Sorting out the ones I want converted from the scratch disc seems awfully tedious.
