importing HDV footage from my Sony Z1 into FCP (not reading camera)

hi guys

its worked in the past, but for some annoying reason my final cut won't read my Sony Z1 Camera in Log & Capture. I've even setup the camera to convert HDV - DV

Any tips??

I don't have a tip for you but I did find this site that could be very useful.

If you're importing HDV, you want the "convert HDV->DV" option OFF.

If you turn it on, you are downconverting to SD in the camera, and you will only be able to log and capture in DV mode.
