Live Type scrolls

Has anyone experience making scrolls in Live Type. The FCP text seems to jittter and when i make one in LT it starts late, about 10 seconds into the scroll and finishes abriptly without including all of the text. I have tried sevral approaches including tryong to make 2 shorter text entries but the behavior is the same.

What am I missing here? Any input greatly apppreciated

You should be using Boris Calligraphy, part of FCP. FCP Text sucks. In the Viewer window, Boris is accessed by clicking on the button with the "A" on it. Scroll down the popup menu that is revealed and choose "Title 3D" Then choose Roll or Crawl.
