I'm not Shane, but how could 23.98 match with 29.97 TC without changing the time base?

Shane was a bit faster, so here some addition

? DROP FRAME code at 23.98 is not supported. FO COURSE 23.98 is supported...has been ever since FCP supported P2?
Beside the problems Shane had - there is no 23.98 DF in any spec. In theory it's no problem.

From the Safari development blog, Ten New Things in WebKit 3.

"WebKit 3 introduces the ability to customize the look of form controls with CSS. We still use standard looking native form when no custom styles are applied, but we have the ability to customize the look to better support sites with a strong visual identity..."

I'm not a shooter, I am an editor and was brought on after the shoot took place. Otherwise I would have advised them differently.

Don't worry Jude, they must have read your thoughts and took that feature out again :-)

Unfortunately the Scroll to Playhead isn't what we were all hoping for. It's a one off command that literally scrolls the timeline so the playhead is in the centre of the window. Doesn't work during playback.

BOO! Thanks for the heads-up, Martin, but it seems like those FCP designers have ignored us yet again. If I needed a one-off command to "find" my playhead, I'll just click on the ruler or press Left and then Right Arrow quickly. What we need is an option for the window to follow a moving playhead as it plays in real time.
