6.0.2 upgrade

sorry to start a new post, but having read the other i was wondering if it was safe to install the new upgrades?

i'm figuring you guys may have tested it and i'm happy to listen to your advice.

i read you can't use 6.0.2 files in 6.0.1 but i've been running 6 and if i upgrade will my current projects still be fine?

IMHO, 6.0.2 breaks more things than it fixes...and is not worth it at this time. Big issue is the need to go to QT 7.3, and that also messes a lot of things up.

FCP 6.0.1 and QT 7.1.6 is the most stable version of FCP 6 out there.

What does it break beside the snapping issue brought up in another thread - am using new version on MacBook Pro using 10.4.11 and quicktime 7.3 and it's been solid so far.

P2 import...busted. AVCHD import and working...busted. And with the P2 thing, any P2 footage you imported previously won't work...for many many people.

Busted.

Is there any way to downgrade QT to 7.1.6? Currently on 7.2. Had to reinstall everything...OS and FC Studio to get rid of the QT 7.2 compatability upgrade and the pro apps upgrade. They were screwing up my system...making the audio pop and crackle. Any easy way to downgrade QT that you know of?
