Camera flaggs and capture

Hi!
I am trying to capture a whole tape recorded on Sony HVR-V1E (HDV). My FCP 5.1.4 refuses to do what I want. Instead I get one clip for each shot. Can I change a setting I haven´t found in FCP or is it a setting in the camera (on the tape)?

Go to the HDV capture window, "Clip Settings" tab, and make sure "create new clip on stop/start" is UNchecked. I've been working w/HDV for a year or so now and w/the rare "problem tape" exception I have had no probably logging & capturing HDV or capturing HDV tapes in their entirety.
