Suggested Video Cards

I'm having problems with my current video card (Ati Radeon X800XT). Can you guys recommend a proven replacement?

Dual 2ghz Power Pc
5.5 gig ram
OSX 10.4.6
FCP 5.0
Motion 2.0
QT 7.0.4
Ati Radeon X800 XT Mac Edition

The X800 is the Baddest Mutha' available for the 8x AGP G5 Macs of those days.

The only other one that will work is a slight downgrade to the ATI 9600.

The NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL is actually faster than the X800 XT on Motion according to this benchmark test:

I went with the 6800, and it has been pretty darned great. I do a lot of replicator-intensive Motion graphics, and I've been really happy with the card.

Display corruption. A pattern that somewhat resembles a moving transparency checkerboard.
I suspect the ram on the radeon card.
When I replace the radeon with another card the corruption goes away.
