Loren I know about the problems of this decision

But today I decided to buy a new 8-core instead of a new floor. A new floor would mean to clear the whole office, living in dirt some days and then bring everything in back again into the office and make it work.
The new Mac is just opening a box and wire it - no real physical effort, no dirt and no long wait to get back to work (hopefully). So the floor has to wait a bit.

Maybe I'll be at NAB after some years again - it depends on how our multiclip recording system will work.
Would be great to meet some of you in person.
