Add a count down to sequence

Is the only way to add a count down to a sequence by having one inserted when doing a print to video then capturing that and adding it back to another sequence?
Or is the a generator somewhere I'm missing. I don't want it but have a student that want's it at the beginning of his movie.

on the FCP install disk, i think in an "Extras" folder,
there is a collection of Countdowns,
and indeed an FCP project file with the Countdown Template sequences ready for you to modify.

it could be labelled "Countdowns for Cinema Tools" or similar.

these countdowns ar WAY better than the one FCP generates.
other than these, you need to make your own, or acquire them from somewhere else.
