exporting options and pulldown

I am trying to export my short film, shot on DVX100B 24pA.

-can anyone tell me the difference between interlaced vs progressive?
-the choice of RGB versus YUV?
-when i reversed the pulldown in cinema tools some registered as 3:2 pulldown and some advanced, even though i am sure the settings didnt get changed in between takes?
-if it is shot in 24pA do i still need to remove the pulldown before i edit in a 23.98 timeline?
-do i need to reintroduce the pulldown after i exported the uncompressed quicktime? to export it onto digi beta?

Capture 24pA thru fire wire
remove pulldown there
the only bug I have found in capture is that the last clip on the tape needs an outpoint
if the tape runs out of control track, without the outpoint FCP will make the last clip it 29.97
never used cinema tools for this (don't need it)
edit in 23.98 (native)
Final output for me has been DVD
Export sequence via compressor

I would shoot and edit the DVX100 in 24p (29.97) for broadcast output

for me 24pA in DV space (DV25) is a nice way to get a great looking DVD
DVCPro HD 720p30N is what I use for broadcast (P2)
