FCP2 install was fine on my Ist computer 2.7 GHZ Power PC G5 10.4.11 on second computer Install start up disk won't even show help! I know you can install on more than one personal computers?

duplicate of the other Mac, if I put in the start up disk nothing happens, I can hear the disk but nothing shows up to install.. I have tried another external drive it fails to boot the FCP2 disk also?

sounds like somethig up with the second box. eject the disk, reboot. try again?

the second box (computer) finally boots the disk but gives me the blank page icon rather than the install icon?

hmmmm... sounds like it may be a drive/OS issue.

never seen this before and ive installed FCS2 from the same disc on various machines with no probs before

yes It installed on my other Mac, disc image shows on desk top but nothing else happens, I can't open it.

Try to make a image of the disk using Disk Utility and than open it from the Finder.
I'm not sure but if the Mac's are network connected try to close the connection.
