Viewmaster Plugin?

Hello All, I'm looking for a plug in for final cut studio 2 that looks similar to what a viewmaster looks like. Anyone know of a plug in or work flow to get this effect???

wat's a viewmaster? do you mean a viewfinder? it's under filters in "video" and "viewfinder"

You must be a young'un. It's quite a cool toy: a 3D stereoscopic viewer. Very analog, although they still make 'em.

Try two copies of the Matte>Mask Shape (change to rectangle).
Click the "Invert" checkbox on both filters.

This trick (using more than one copy of a matte filter) is in my book, "Motion Graphics and Effects in Final Cut Pro".

tha'd be SUPER easy to pull off with nested sequences in after effects

Oooh ooh ooh oooh!!!! Yep, i played with some when i was a kid! That was like the 80s! Omg!!! I should get a viewmaster for keepsake!

Imagine the current crop of kids, 20 years on and going "omg! i gotta get an iphone for keepsake!"

I still have one =-)

We tried to use the anchor point in the motion tab... but it was still quite a bit of work. Any other ideas, just let me know!
