What do you do when....(crash)

My system locked up and I re-booted. Now, the G5 turns on the fans slowly start to spin up until they are screaming, and nothing else happens. No output on the monitor.

10.4 something

Any ideas?

Answer: unplug the DV camera you were trying to capture from.

Put in the SYSTEM INSTALL disk and see if the system boots. If so, DON'T REINSTALL...just get to the install screen and then go to the UTILITIES menu and choose DISK UTILITY. Repair permissions and use the other REPAIR option.

It the computer STILL won't boot, with the system CD...hardware issue.
