An economical portable FCP editing option..

I know you folks have done this to death but I need your input - it is always apprieciated. I want to get a mac book (I cant afford a mac book pro..I live in England and the prices are way over the top) and of course I want to use FCP 5/6 with the AJA codecs. It will be very helpful if the mac book can handle it. Should I go for it? Thank you Phil UK

yes, FCP will work on a Mac Book.
we have a MAc Book in our studio right now that the director is using to preview an select rushes

you'll be limited to capture & playback via FW
(i'm not sure if the AJA iO HD or the MAtrox MXO will work on a Mac Book?)


and dont expect to run Motion or Colour.
