Splitting a 11.5 Gig Quicktime

Hi All:

I need to archive the video files of a project to DVD but one of the quicktimes is 11.5 Gigs. Is there a way to split this in 3 parts but still keep the links to the FCP project so when I need to come back in the future I won't have to eye match.

Thanks,

A Neuman

Are you archiving with Toast on to DVD? Toast allows you to "span" your projects over multiple disks. You can burn one quicktime over 3 disks and "restore" it back to full size when you need to. It installs the little restore app on the first disk of your span. Very powerful feature. I've burned 40 GB projects over 6 DL-DVD-Rs. $79.99 and worth every penny...

Stuffit does the same. You can freely choose your segment size.
