Totally. Usually the post is, "I've been editing for weeks and now suddenly....and I didn't change anything."

You change one thing. You put more and more stuff on your hard drive as you edit. That counts.

It could still be something else, but a majority of the time...

There's another point to note on this. How many open sequences do you have, how big is the project file. That, against the amount of RAM you have in your machine. A huge project file (above 100 MBs) and you're riding on luck, especially if you don't have much RAM in your machine.
