how do you lose the themes for Idvd?

I just want to make custom title pages etc but can't figure it out on the latest IDVD 8. On 6 I'm fine - I like IDVD but I don't like themes. Cheers phil UK

Pick one of the basic themes, one of the older ones and delete the background image or replace it one of your own.

Find one that's real basic to do that with. I did that once with a template that had a bunch of pre-configured music for the menu, thought I had gotten rid of everything to make my own pages, but after burning that blasted music was still there. I don't know why iDVD can't just offer a blank template for these purposes.

However, it's just about as easy to do a Q&D DVD, without any canned themes or the need to delete them, in DVDSP, and with a lot more control if you want it.
