Capturing 24p from Canon XL2

Hello.
I used the Canon XL2 with the 24p 16:9 setting to record a wedding.
What do I need to do to import it into FCP6 correctly?

I used the DV NTSC anamorphic project setting.
But I get the feeling I might be doing it wrong.

No, you capture 24p DV exactly as you'd capture normal 29.97fps DV NTSC. Unless you wanted to edit in and then export out as 23.98fps, in which case you'd have to do a reverse telecine.
