OT: MacWorld, looks like it will be iPhone WorldPosted by Eric Harnden
Hey Guys,
Do you think there will be ANY FCP announcements at this year's MacWorld? I don't want to attend an "iPhoneWorld" expo. Since it's "Expo season", what about the other conferences? DV Expo seems cool because of LAFCPUG having a live meeting there. HD Expo seems cool. And... NAB seems cool just because and only because of the Scarlet camera. And to add to the OT mix, Adobe has really impressed me with their CS4 line by listening to their customers. Will Apple follow suit or...? I think they (Apple) needs to really step it up or else they might loose their footing. -- Eric Harnden Quintessential Studios --------------------------------- [wordpress.quintessentialstudios.net] [twitter.com]
ProApps are never at Macworld. However we will be.

Pro Apps division might not be there, but MacWorld is a decent mix of pro and consumer attractions. Remember that AJA chose MacWorld to introduce Kona 3 - that's a very pro product, and it was shown working with Final Cut Studio. A lot of surprisingly pro gardware shows up in boothes, drive solutions like CalDigit, WeibeTech, G-Tech, LaCie, and software utilities of all kinds, neat stuff. Apple shows all the Pro Apps under the big tent. Adobe is always there, FileMaker, etc. Then as Mike mentioned, there's the SF SuperMeet which never disappoints the FCP crowd. Always worth the trip. I am so glad I invented that name. I am not glad neglected to charge a royalty. - Loren Today's FCP keytip: Cycle bin views with Shift - H !!
