my res is 1680x1050
veiwsonic 22"
ati x1900 vram 512mb

i keep getting a greenish fuzz that is most prevalent in the darker areas of my wallpaper. Its also randomly in the gui of any program.

i am thinking it is the monitor but switching res will get rid of it.

any suggestions?

I find that Lysol is is pretty good at removing mold. You can also try a quarter-cup of bleach mixed with a gallon of warm water. Add lemon juice to cut the bleach smell.

sounds great that bleach trick works for teeth also lol.

the fuzz is like pixels and its the same as the green you would see on the oldest cpu or at banks.

Will the good ol' WD40 work? I gather it was an ancient incarnation of Disk Warrior.

I'm sure this problem can be solve through a liberal application of gaffer tape.

I don't know how, exactly. But I'm sure it can be done.

Lysol, WD40, gaffer tape. Still works. And yea, spit too. The enzymes help break down some of the greens.

Ohh! You are using wallpaper, I recommend you cover this with
tongue and groove (not tongue-in -cheek) paneling.

This will cover this ugly green wallpaper.

Try some of these... I usuall tell my interior designer to cover it with a painting when wallpapers don't cover the spots. (Gotta love the lips).
