ProRes 1280x720 23.98 (HQ) output to 525 29.97 via KONA 3 SOLVED

From delivered quicktimes the video is ProRes 1280x720 23.98 (HQ)
I'm not understanding "Intermediate format" in KONA 3 terms.
Basically, what is my set up here?
When I set the frame buffer to 720p 59.94 YUV-10b with a 525i29.97 Down Convert
I get picture but my audio is way off.
When I set the frame buffer to 23.98, red lines appear on the AJA control panel and no picture.
I am monitoring my output from the DVW-500.

Never worked with ProRes...well, once, but that project never finished, funding ran dry. I have downconverted DVCPRO HD and uncompressed 10-bit, but not ProRes.

How far off is your audio? Can you set the offset in the System Prefs to fix this?

Expansion Slot Utility reference

Bandwidth was being robbed

The give away was in during playback the software displayed correct audio sync monitoring audio
thru Kona 3 but the video output was off.

Big ups to AJA this friday!!!!!!!!!

WHich MacPRo do you have? The June 2007 one? or Jan 2008? The June 2007 one has PCIe slots that you configure...the one I have, the Jan 2008, has fixed slots, so the Kona needs to be in a specific slot...slot 3.
