HOW CAN I GET CLEAN XDCAM IMAGES ON MY MONITOR?

hi im currently cutting a project that was shot on XDCAM
the compression used is 1080p25 (35 Mb/s VBR) im using an aja kona card the problem is the footage looks great on the computer screens in FCP but on my monitor it looks like its antialiasing or there is a problem with the field order or something.?
Im monitoring from an sdi output and i have selected sdi 1 output to 10bit uncompressed and sdi output 2 is set to 1080i25 so i assume i should be using output 2 for my monitoring but it still looks dodgy.
So is it my monitor my settings or what? can anyone offer any advice on how i can get a clean sharp XDCAM image?

If you are monitoring XDCAM, you have to choose one of the KONA XDCAM output options. NOT uncompressed. Kona XDCAM 1080i50 or 1080p25 if they offer it. I'll wager you have to choose the 1080i50 option though.
