Drop Frame/Non Drop Frame

Happy Holidays and thanks in advance...I"m about to capture media and received this prompt warning: You are about to capture Non-Drop Frame media from a device currently configured for Drop-Frame media. Please advise. My footage that i am capturing is 24P from an XL2 and I'm using a mini DV camcorder for a capture deck.

My guess is that your sequence is configured for 24p but the miniDV camcorder is delivering a standard NTSC (drop-frame) DV stream.
If this is the case, and your original media is 24p, probably you should correctly configure the DV camcorder you use as a capture deck... but, to be honest I'm not really expert on 24p. Sorry.

I figured it out! Under USER PREFERENCES: TIMELINE OPTIONS: just UNCHECK Drop Frame!
That's it! Alot of people are confused about that!
