help with fcp4

I INSTALLED FCP4 IN MY OLD COMPUTER 2 YEARS AGO. LAST WEEK I BOUGHT A G4. DUAL PROCESSOR. SO I INSTALLED FCP IN MY NEW MACHINE. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I TRY TO LAUNCH THE APPLICATION , THERE IS A LICENSING WINDOW WHO ASK ME THE SERIAL #, WHEN I WRITE IT , NOTHING HAPPEN. I GOT ONLY THE MESSAGE QUIT OR OK. THE QUIT PART IS SOLIDE, THE OK THAT I HAVE TO HIT TO FIRE UP FCP DEAD. NEED HELP TO FIX THIS PROBLEM
