OT - OWC customer service KUDO!

i received in the mail today (without any prior notice) a small package from OWC.

i opened it and to my surprise, inside was a small fan assembly. apparently they had a run of hard drive enclosures where they installed 6500rpm fans that should have been 4500rpm. the printed notice said this was to reduce the chance of unwanted noise from the drive.

that is some SUPERB customer service!

Thats great wayne. I like them too. Maybe Seagate will send me a letter in the mail with a xeroxed copy of the owners left middle finger. It would match the service i received.

I am still waiting to hear back from the people that took over gmax solutions.
If I was this unresponsive I'd be out of business!
