Remove "popping P's" from FCP soundtrack?

... looking for suggestions on the best way to remove "popping P's" throughout a voiceover recorded in FCP.

Can you re-record it? Because there's very little you can do to remove that distortion.

I had to do that to an interview that could not be re-recorded and I ended up having to park on the spot where the pop occurs, expand the timeline all the way in, then at the pop, there will be what looks like a small sine wave that is one or two frames (it's been a while). If you remove that, and clone the frame before or after it to replace, it ends up sounding pretty good. Experiment.
