How do I enble the preview window when logging and capturing?

Trying to log and capture footage from my Panasonic DVX100 to Final Cut. Says "Preview Diabled". How can I enable the preview window?

If you have everything set up correctly then the Preview should be active. If you just see bars then something isn't right; did you make sure you're capturing with a DV NTSC/Firewire preset?
