Hello User Group,
I am looking for some solutions for an issue we're having. I am working on an independent feature film (FCP 6.0.6 on OS 10.4.11) on 3 separate systems (on 3 cloned drives with the same media). The editor's system is the primary system and the director and me (the AE) will be on our laptops. I am looking for the fastest, least complicated way to take the work from the 2 laptops and bring them into the primary system. Your help is greatly appreciated. -J
Same media...exact same file structure and hard drive name...like Jeff said, just swap projects. Everything will relink fine. Except for renders....you'll have to do those again.

hi, spencer.
i've cut a few features using the same basic workflow as yours (mulitple station, duplicated media) we copy and paste the work into a new project, and hand that over. this can be saved with a descriptive name & a date. this makes it terribly easy to hand over to the editor, (it's smaller, and self-descriptive) and it's then "in the system" as the editor, i don't want to wait while a large project opens, then have to hunt around inside it for the latest sequences. my assistant does their work, saves a small project to a folder in my drive ("from Assistant" or whatever) this folder is sorted by date on my end, so i just open the uppermost project. i open it and copy paste the sequence back into mine. works for me! cheers, nick
