What would be the best "Audio/Video settings with new FCP Studio and Canon HV30

What would be the best settings in the "Audio/Video"settings menu for importing footage in the latest version of FCP Studio into my Canon HV30?
"into" your Canon camera? or "From" your Canon camera? "into" does not work.

NTSC or HDV FW Basic is what you want. There is a pre set for that.

Michael, thanks for that info, do you know if I will be able to import into FCP Studio from the Sony GV-HD700 HDV Video Deck, it does have a fire wire port and I do not want to purchase it if it is not compatible with FCP.

Has anyone used a Sony GV-HD700 HDV Video Walkman Mini-DV Player Recorder with FCP? It has a fire wire I/O and plays and records from Mini HD Tapes. It is HD/SD Capable of playing back High Definition Video (HDV) and Standard Definition Video recorded on MiniDV cassette.

i.LINK®DV Interface (IEEE1394)
A high speed bi-directional digital video/audio communication between two devices equipped with an IEEE1394 interface, including camcorders, digital VCRs, and PCs.

It is a 1080i device. I have no information from Apple as to whether it is compatible with the new version of FCP 7.
