Hi--

Is it possible to export a Final Cut Pro QT with audio panned L and R? Either Ch 1 left, Ch 2 right; or, Ch 1 & 2 left and Ch 3 & 4 right?

I can't seem to get it to stay panned and I'd like to make a DVD with dialogue and music on separate channels.

yes.

it's a two step process to set up.

go to your sequence's sequence settings > audio outputs tab.
change stereo to dual mono, and click ok.

back in the timeline,
right or control click in the audio panel, (left of timeline, where the locks etc. are)
go to outputs, and chose the appripriate one for each track.

then double check this.
it's easy to make a mistake, and there is no visual guide.
