as you already have the file, you may well be better off using it.
those files wont play SOUND in FCP unless they are rendered. so throw it into a timeline and render the audio. if your edit is just "top & tailing" or simple cut-down, you can just work in the timeline after you render the audio. then export for DVD however you do that. nick
