need help please

Im working on a music video that was shot on a mini DV sony handicam. I am editing this video with final cut pro 6, and i am having difficulty with the effects not rendering.... is it a technical issue or did i forget to adjust the settings? please help thank you

Go to Sequence> render all. and make sure everything is ticked.

Aside from Strypes' suggestion, FCP does also have temporary glitches where it fails to see effects that need rendering. Use Clip Enable/Disable (CONTROL-B) to turn the clips off and then back on, and try again.
