hey everybody, im using fcp 6.0.1 and i want to slow down the speed on certain parts of the scene and then have it go back to normal speed. I know u can use apple J for the speed effect but it comes out to blocky...any suggestions on how to get rid of the blocky look or an easier way to slow down footage?... thank you

What's 'blocky' mean to you?

IMHO as a lower-middle professional...

FCP is not the place for any slowmo unless the footage was over cranked for it. 24p or 30p footage will never look good in FCP remapped. I personally do all slowmo in Motion3&4.
