OS 10.4
FCP 6 - DV NTSC project Working with AVI files recorded on clients Vado pocket video camera (not the HD), downloaded to client's PC (not Mac), copied to firewire HD and copied to my firewire HD. They play fine (audio & video) in QT Player as is. In FCP, .avi files show video but barely play only one frame every 2-3 seconds. The clip plays for a few seconds and then I get the spinning ball of death, wait... wait... and have to force quit. I've converted them to .mov via MPEG Streamclip and QT Player and in FCP both play video normally but no audio. Any suggestions? Streamclip's Export to QT has so many compression options, any suggestions there? Thanks, Michelle
Not HD? Then use the DV/NTSC option in Streamclip.

Can't you convert to QT via QT Pro, export?
