I hesitate to ask such a naive question, but here goes:
I just used Disk Speed Bench X on my internal drives and discovered that my System drive, which has most of my Apps on it and is several years old, has a speed of 46,000,000 bps and that one of my internal storage drives, about 18 months old, clocks in at 75,000,000 bps.
Now even I can see that this is about 50% faster.
But would I get any
real world results from switching them? Would I see an increase in rendering speed, for instance? Or a speed increase in opening Apps?
It's a question of Pain-In-The-Neck vs Benefit.
Thanks.
Harry.
